PREMIER LIFEGUARDS
At Premier Recreations, Our lifeguards must perform, at a high level of professionalism. Patron safety and customer service are essential to providing the best experience possible for all. Our lifeguards must meet all certificate standards to be on schedule. Our lifeguard must participate in our Continuous Training program to maintain their certifications. All lifeguards must complete in-service training modules throughout the summer.

Premier lifeguards must understand that while on duty, they must be rescue ready at all times. Keeping swimmers safe starts with the guards. Lifeguard must be in a uniform, identifiable with the rescue tube strapped on, and always Rescue Ready.
All lifeguards are retrained each year and undergo frequent “in-service” training session to keep them sharp and alert. A lifeguard is trusted with the lives of others and it carries a high level of responsibility. As a result we have high standards for all our staff at Premier Recreation Management Services.

Lifeguard Course- Registration includes
- Hip pack
- Resuscitation mask
- Whistle
Training Prerequisites
*Minimum ages is 15
Must Pass Pre-Course Swim Test
Tread Water: Keeping head above the surface by treading water. Cannot use hands or arms. Timed: 2 minutes
Brick Dive: 20 yard swim, surface dive to a depth of 7 to 10 feet, retrieve a 10 lb. brick, return to the surface, swim the 20 yards back to the starting point keeping the brick and head above the water, and exit the pool. Timed: 1 minutes, 20 seconds.
300 yard continuous swim (100 yards front crawl, 100 yards breast stroke, 100 yards either front crawl or breast stroke). No time limit.
